What functionality does PubNub Access Manager provide?
PubNub Access Manager (PAM) adds server-less access controls to the PubNub Realtime Data Stream Network. With PAM, developers can manage granular permissions within their apps by restricting data access allowing delivery of powerful new types of applications. PAM enables the following:
- Fine-grain, in-app publish and subscribe permissions to realtime data streams
- Relieve developers from having to host authentication servers to secure their apps
- Grant access controls at various granularity levels: person, device, channel or key
- Works with existing authentication systems like Facebook, Twitter, Google, LDAP, etc.
